Discover Volunteer Opportunities in Local Parks

In Plainfield, the partnership with Kent County Parks Department enhances recreational spaces and trail networks, leveraging both entities' resources for better parks. Volunteering in these parks benefits the environmental conservation and beautification of the area.

Kent County Parks, especially in the Plainfield area, offers many volunteer options for individuals and organizations. From single projects to season-long commitments like Seasonal Stewards, and from park adoptions to internships, there's a role for every interest. Activities include clean-ups, invasive species management, habitat restoration, and more, enabling direct impact on environmental health and community enhancement. In the Township area, specialized groups, such as the group for Rogue River Park, not only volunteer at Rogue but also Dwight Lydell Park and Lamoreaux Park.
