Plainfield Township partners with the Kent County Sheriff’s Office to provide road patrol services. Deputies Jose Douglas, Jacob Conner and Nick Mills are the Township’s community policing officers and are responsible for developing relationships with the community, helping maintain a safe living environment in the Township, facilitating the Township’s weekly Coffee with a Cop meetings and assisting with code enforcement.

Coffee with a Cop

The Kent County Sheriff's Office hosts its weekly Coffee with a Cop discussion *NOW AT* the Plainfield Township Offices at 6161 Belmont Ave NE. 

Each Thursday at 10 a.m., the Kent County Sheriff’s Office provides coffee and talks with residents about how to prevent and reduce crime in their neighborhood, answers questions about recent incidents in the area and listens to concerns. 

Anyone is welcome to attend and enjoy a cup of coffee.
