Township Ordinances

Plainfield Township’s ordinances generally govern matters that are not already covered by state or federal laws. These ordinances are adopted and amended by the Board of Trustees. The majority of ordinances pertain to maintaining community health and safety, zoning and general welfare.

Examples of ordinances include building and zoning regulations, property maintenance, sign placement and noise, among many others.
